अपि (api)
- （连同方位的前置词） close by or to(在……旁边), within(在……之内), before(在……之前); 副词 further(进一步), also(也), too(也); even ()(连同“na” = 拉丁语 quidem); at least(至少), however(然而), but(但是)(在词、子句和句子之间或之后，r. 在强调的词之前。)。
- 在数字之后 = all(都)
- all the four castes, etc.
- 在句子开始处，它是疑问质词。
后缀

- 和祈愿语态动词一起表达 hope(希望), fear(畏惧), 或 desire(愿望)。
- “api ca”或“cApi” further(进一步), moreover(此外)。
- “api--api”(或“ca”) as well as(也，又)。
- “api ca--ja cApi” rather than(胜于)。
- “ye'pi--te'pi” they too(他们也)--who(谁)。
